Scope of Work:

Demolish and remove all existing concrete flooring, exposed insulation, and old wiring

Build new framed walls to create a separate guest bedroom, bathroom, and workout area

Install new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC runs to service the new basement layout

Lay high-quality vinyl plank flooring throughout the finished areas

Drywall and finish all walls, then paint in a warm, inviting color palette

Build a custom built-in murphy bed and wardrobe in the guest bedroom

Add recessed lighting, pendant lighting, and smart home automation

Timeline: The basement restoration took 10 weeks to complete. The Jones family was able to remain living in the home for the duration of the project, with minor inconveniences during the more intensive construction phases.

Results: The basement is now a beautiful, functional living space that the Jones family is thrilled with. The new guest suite allows them to comfortably host visiting friends and family.
